Fr. David Hostetler

Born a few decades ago, I met and married my wife while I was an enlisted sailor in the U.S. Navy. Fortunately, I had decided college was not for me and, thus, was able to meet my wife in time to escort her to her High School Senior Prom.

Over the years of our marriage we’ve lived in five states and two foreign countries, raised four sons, and veered through several career paths.

Ordained an Orthodox priest in June 2011, two years later I re-entered active duty in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps where I have been ever since. Currently I serve in Naples, Italy where I help supervise the operation of the Religious Ministries Program and its chapels, and serve the needs of the service members and their families stationed here.
